BBX filed a W-1 for a vertical Woodbine/Wildcat test in Polk County, The well can also be completed in the Austin Chalk.

To my knowledge, this is the first recent woodbine permit in Polk County.  Its described as 1 mile SE of Ollie, which puts it about 4-5 miles NE of Livingston, but more east than North.

How deep is the Woodbine at this location ?

A successful Woodbine (Hortense) drilled by Devon API 373-30208 Woodbine is at about 12600'  It was drilled in the 1970's, and is still producing, so it might be interesting to see the production history on it. Its produced 3.5 BCF and roughly 60,000 bbls of condensate since 1993.

A Mitchell well -373-30791 is in the same field/formation.   Its produced 5 BCF and 90,000 bbls condensate since 1993.

So they are deep enough they are mainly gas wells ? This is about 4500' deeper than the Crockett area Woodbine

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
