Troutman,

Just to clear things up ---- Petrohawk sold out to BP and BP kept the name for that division ------ The owners took their profits and started a new company called Halcon (HK) that is active in East Tx ------- many are referring to them still as "Petrohawk"

BP's Petrohawk is very active in South Texas Eagle Ford Shale but I have not heard of them working the "Eaglebine" in East Tx

The company that purchased Petrohawk is BHP not BP. Two entirely different companies.

Thanks NA

contract land men

Thanks guys!! Then it must be Petroland doing some leasing in Walker, Leon, and Houston county...wondering who for? There's a Pecos Valley operating company of Ft Worth, I think, in Walker County now for title research.

I hear that "Rodger Soap" is the 50 man contractor leasing for EOG in Walker ?

Thanks, DH. I've reached out to his office to receive no response from him. I am aware that he also contracts in Liberty county. As well, word has it that Craig Charbonnet has a crew in Walker.

Have a relaxed and enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday!
