Would anyone have an idea on the expected initial production from a horizontal Cotton Valley well in the Oak Hill field?

Julie, Thanks for the information. I have heard that BP is letting its leases in the Hallsville area expire and that it presently has no rigs drilling in Harrison County and does not plan any in the near future. Have you heard anything in this regard? Tom

I have not heard that but I do know that they moved their one rig in the county down to Panola so the part about no rigs is true. Near future could mean a few months or the rest of the year... they are drilling the third of six permits on a single unit now so if they don't want to bring in another rig it could be 3-4 months before they finish those and consider a move back to Harrison. Whipkey production could have a lot of influence on what happens next in your neighborhood.
