I created this group at the suggestion of a couple of friends on GHS.  In light of the Eagleford, Barnett and Haynesville Shale plays in Texas, a lot of questions are raised in discussions throughout other groups on GHS concerning Texas mineral law and practice relating to ongoing leasing and operational activity in the plays.  Also given the fact that the majority of the Haynesville play is in Louisiana, many discussions on GHS are focused on Louisiana practices.  My friends and I thought having one group dedicated to Texas issues would be worthwhile, so please post whatever is on your mind relating to this topic.
