Am curious to see what the average leases and offers are in Lincoln.  I have signed several leases in the past year, around $350 and acre and am now hearing offers as high as $850 an acre.  Just received an offer, higher than previous offers, with a 1/5 royalty vs the 1/4 I am use to receiving.  Would like opinions on the 1/4 vs 1/5 and high offers in the area.

Skip what is the latest on Lincoln Parish activity, we are still unleased and have been not contacted since July by Wildhorse or any one else.

lee, most of the current drilling is by MRD in their Terryville Complex footprint.  It's the safest and most economical area to invest limited capital in this depressed price environment.  Most of the Choudrant and N Jackson Parish leases are relatively early in their life and there is no need nor compelling reason to be drilling wells where there is little well control and/or existing infrastructure.  I expect exploration outside of Terryville to move slowly for the next year or two, at least.

Wondering if anyone knows anything about the newly completed Williams 11-12 #1 well in portions of Section 11 and 12 of 18N-2W? My family has interests here.
