Check out Skip's discussion "Haynesville Play Matures" http://www.gohaynesvilleshale.com/forum/topics/haynesville-play-mat...
Maybe Les B can add more, he has been so kind and helpful in sharing his knowledge. We are in T13N R8W. Our lease with Encana/Pride expired in early February and the landman I talked to informed us there is no budget currently allocated for re-new. Best of luck.

Permalink Reply by Les Bamburg on February 18, 2011 at 5:52 Les, I would think that the 3D seisemograph being done by CGG Veritas of this area would
open leasing and drilling back up. What do you think concerning this?

What section is your land in (T12N, R9W) that Encana just renewed? We live in Sec. 22, T12N, R9W on the Hickory Grove Rd. We have some other parcels, also. Last summer, Encana chose not to extend the lease on some of the other acreage, so it expired (off the Mt. Olive Road in Sec. 11, T11N, R9W.) Thanks.

| AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More | Links |
