Does anyone know about Chesapeake's two wells in Secs 27 and 34 of 10N, 12W?  Both reported low IPs, but with very restricted chokes and very high pressures.  And then Chesapeake got one month of production out of each of them and then stopped production after that.  The sonris numbers are 238703 and 239443.  Does anyone know when production might be resumed?  Any info?  Thanks.

Henry. The reported pressures for the two wells are high but they aren't that high. By that I mean there are numerous completed wells with higher pressure that are being produced on much larger choke orifices. With that in mind I suspect that the reason for the small chokes is a lack of pipeline capacity. The wells were a significant step out when they were drilled. The take away capacity is probably limited in that part of the Play. I think the IP's would be above average if produced on choke settings in the 18 to 24/64" range.
Thanks Skip. Would you venture a number for "above average?"
Something north of the 12 to 14 MMcfd range.
I would like to add they are fracing the jimmy brown well today. Should know something there before to long. Sistrunk loop is alive and well!
Woo Hoo..... Thanks for the update, Ken. I hope things go well for Jimmy and the others in sect. 9 unit.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
