EAGLE OIL & GAS HAYNESVILLE LATERAL UNDER TOLEDO BEND

I recently noticed a bid tract in the January state mineral auction located on the old channel of the Sabine River under Toledo Bend, Tract No. 43026. Eagle Stone partners, the sole bidder, got the tract for $1025 bonus and a quarter royalty. If memory serves there have been a few Haynesville horizontal wells drilled with laterals under some arms of the lake on the Louisiana side but none out into the middle of the lake with the entire lateral wellbore under the lake. I don't think this well is an indication of an uptick in Haynesville development as much as a decision to HBP some good rock for future considerations. Still it's unique and may be of interest to those in this particular area of the shale.
