Good idea jay williams! Do you want the name of my online psychic? LOL!
Now keep in mind that the numbers above are based on the assumption that Devon's predictions of 6BCF per well in the area hold true - could be more, could be less.

Also that it could take 30-50 years time in order to get the unit fully produced.

In that 30-50 year period things could go completely crazy and demand and price for NG skyrocket or there could be some new technology discovered on the horizon that makes energy from dung beetle poop that makes this whole shale gas boom moot. Who knows?

Even so, it really does seem that ya'll are sitting on a pretty significant asset there with your acreage in San Augustine so unless there is any urgent need for cash immediately then my own advice would be to sit it out and wait for SWE to get drilling. I imagine that they'll need to get moving on that 1st well sometime in the next year or two in order to get your acreage HBP so the wait shouldn't be all that long.

Best of luck to ya'll.
in the 2 surveys, 138 and 664, leases in survey 138- preddominantly held by St Mary's and Southwestern Energy with a couple by Harding and Encana
two wells to watch in San Augusatine:
Harding BLACK STONE WHITE ROCK #1H permitted for Horizontal James Lime--not drilling yet
and as mentioned already, the ST. MARY LAND & EXPLORATION CO. IRONOSA #1h which is drilling
