A lot of their acreage could end up in other operator's units and that would help them to hold the acreage they have left. The corporate presentation states they had 47,000 acres in the southern part of the play. That is not much for a company like them to hold(much has already been HBP) especially if some is absorbed by other operator's. I would bet that they get to all of it in one form or another considering their push to become more of an onshore North American company.
I hope so. I am not leased but next to land they have leased.
where is your land located?
The end of Hight LN.
Can someone clue me in on this well? Has it been drilled? Is it productive? What are future prospects for the vicinity?
My previous reply was perhaps ambiguous. My query relates to an October posting entitled "Blount McFaddin on the County Line," and I'd like to know if drilling has started on this well, and if it's ongoing or completed. Any other info about activity and results in the vicinity would be appreciated.
Eugene, the well has been drilled and is waiting on completion. There is nothing else in San Augustine County, in this vicinity, at this time. Crimson is drilling in Sabine County just over the CL and southeast of the Blount-McFadden well about 2.6 miles.
