Search the drilling permits by County and Survey. Pick your county from the drop down list at the top right of the page then, for a Survey search, choose "contains" and type in the name of your survey (last name only) hit enter. You will get a list of all wells permitted in that survey. They last page will have the most recent. Choose one to look at and scroll to the bottom of the page. There will be a link to the unit plat which shows the unit tracts.

Which survey are you in? No,you don't need Quicktime but you do need to either turn off pop up blocker or add the url to your safe list in internet options on your browser.

Yeah, I tried it again and all I get is a Quicktime logo with a question mark over it.

Keith,
There's 3 wells in the area. The Blackstone A43 1H & 2H. Also, the Blackstone A398 (which is not in A Spear survey). There is not a Fancher listed in the BS A43 units. The units are identical as far as MO's.

I just wish I could see the map myself. I can hardly stand it when others tell me something is a certain way, but can't show me.

What do I need to do to get the .tif files to open up on the bottom of the W-1 form?

Keith, you have to adjust your browser for pop-ups. I use Mozilla Firefox and have it set to open links in a new tab. You can set internet explorer to open in a new window or as a new tab, I believe.

You may also have to go into control panel and set the default program used to open .tif files. I have mine set to windows photo gallery just because it causes fewer conflicts that way. It sounds like your computer is trying to use Quicktime to open a (.tif) picture.

Keith--You simply need a Alterna TIFF viewer--- google Alterna Tiff viewer--- it's a free download--- works on any PC with Windows and also Macs--- The RRC website of Texas uses this rather than a pdf or Quicktime etc. This will over ride your Quicktime

I really must have been having a foggy brain day lately... how many times have we talked about tif viewers, adubu? I totally missed the connection with what Keith was saying about Quicktime.
