How can I find out if my property tract is in a producing, or even pending, unit? Is there some kind of map somewhere that shows what properties are in a particular wells unit?

jffree1---That understandable with all the junk we are requiring to attempt to digest from "Obama" and what he is doing to this great county ---we are all in the fog. I've there
I want to start off by thanking all of you for helping me get this figured out so I can look at the map. By doing a mental overlay of the plat and google earth I see that my property is too far east of this unit. Do you hear that? That's my heart breaking. On the plat you can see what would be the first bend on 1277 to the right as you travel away from the junction with 1196. If you look on google earth at the same area, you can see there is another bend to the left, then one more to the right. My property is just after that second right on the north side of 1277. Maybe I'll get lucky one day.
If you are in A. Spear, A-43 you must be in eastern end of the survey. I wouldn't be surprised to see another well unit in that vicinity one day. But nobody is in a hurry with gas so low.
I need some help! I am trying to find out if they are going to be doing some seismographic testing on property we just purchased. We noticed several pink and white flags and then a flag that has "AH 722" on it. I don't know how to find out who is doing the surveying.
Denise---Easiest way maybe to talk to contignous property owners and ask who contacted then and who they sign ROW easement to shoot the seismic. Also ask the sellers of the property you just purchased if they sign seismic shoot agreement before sale? If so and they are shooting you want copy of agreement and why was it not disclosed to you in closing documents?
Ugh, I know. Well we did figure out who is doing the testing and from what we have found out it WAS signed before. The land was actually purchased from a timber company and so the process was started months before we actually paid for it. We have the phone number to the person doing the testing so we will call them tomorrow and find out what is going on.
Here's what gets me, It is 2 weeks until opening day of hunting season. All the pink/white flags are all around my feeder, I mean I have a picture of one of the guys walking past my trail cam! I mean come on you wait ALL year and then this crap!
