Hi All, I apologize if my subject is redundant. Im trying to get an accurate picture of what actual Haynesville drilling activity is going on in Shelby. So far I have the following wells:
CHK Harvey #1H - completing
EOG Watkins #1H - status?
CHK Carzenava #1H - spudded
EOG Boles #1H - permitted
Unit/Burk JV has several vertical wells permitted to HBP their leases, will drill H when prices improve.
Unit Petroleum plans well in the John English Survey just to East of Harvey; not permitted; vertical to HBP

Can anyone comment on/add to this list? Thank you so much!

XTO IS PERMITTED TO 15,500-- ON VERTICAL WELL ,SOUTH OF SHELBYVILLE JUST OFF 147---IM A MILE OR SO SOUTH OF IT.
dennis
does the permit state what the target zone/s are ?
king john
no,just a wildcat on 40 acres -pool size ,states 40 acres total pool size...permit was changed from around 130 acres range and a target at around 7000 or so i researched this awhile ago... but they were told by trrc they did not have enough land to specify a zone so they reduced to a wild cat oil/gas on 40 acres only...2 land owners---they hold my small acreage lease.just recieved check for 147.00 from sitel for siesmic work .XTO IS DRILLING IN THE SURVEY NEXT DOOR TO ME.THEY HAVE GONE AFTER A SECOND LEVEL AROUND THE 7-8,000 DEPTH FROM THE SAME LOCATION...1/2 MILE FROM ME.WELL PRODUCTION WAS GETTING STRONGER AS THEY CAME MY DIRECTION...HOPE FRO HIGHER PRICES.
Dennis Peace--what's the name of the XTO well? If the well is only 7-8000' depth this is mostlikely James Lime well.
the well next door is ,but the other, a mile or so above is--- 15,500 vertical...permitted
Hey Dennis. Sounds like we may be neighbors. Where is your property? I am not sure this is the type of info that is to be made public on this site, but if I could figure out how to email you privately I would. I was recently informed that Seismic activity is going on at this moment on my property in the Neuville community.
Allen,
Sounds like your property is a couple of miles from my property ?
We also had some seismic activity going on too. Actually, I think it happened twice....so something must be going on.
I need to find out how to contact you, too, without using this public site.
king john,

In regards to the map, I am told that the area to the SW is Upper Bossier Sand area. Not Shale. Still reported to have some pretty big wells there.
I have been researching Neuville area where I have property and there are (at least) two producing wells there. One is Stockman South (Tx RRC API# 419-30274) and the other is Huxley (6100) (TX RRC API# 419-31274. I have tried to contact the operators or their leasing agents to offer mine for lease. I got an offer from some company out of Colorado, and don't even know how they found me, so I am trying to see if I can get better offers. Good Luck!
I'm guessing "some company out of Colorado" is St. Mary Land and Exploration. If so, they've very heavily leased the area you are referring to. I suspect their next well will be in that area.
Allen-- make sure before you lease find out who the operator is---you want to make sure they have ablility to drll a H well --check them out--Not good ideal to let someone flip your lease and keep part of your royalty, etc
