does any one know which wells in the Joaquin Field have tested the Haynesville/Bossier shale?

adubu...I got the depths/tops from the completion report filed with TRRC on the well by KCS...it is the Eagle Mills-Triassic...none the less..Petrohawk has the entire Joaquin area they acquired from KCS and its HBP and shown in their Haynesville/Bossier maps
yep-thanks jffreel-even deeper than the smackover--WAY DEEP--everyone showing joaquin in their Haynesville/Bossier maps..I guess since most of it is HBP without term limits on leases the drilling not focused there

Thanks but what I was looking at in that column is the Triassic age formations... and the only one I saw was the Eagle Mills. I was under the impression (possibly mistaken?) that the Bossier/Haynesville were Jurassic age formations.

I guess that's why we need a geologist, LOL!

ijffree and RBH---this is confusing-- I see now what you are saying. The completion depth on the OL Guy is 11531 and is called Joaquin Triassic. But the top of the TP is 6300-botton 8650-- top of CV 8650-bottom 9860--top of shale ~10,000 so how can the shale, cv lime ,smackover, salt, buckner, etc plus eagle mills be only another 1500' thick???????? As I said before some thing does not add up????? I wonder if they misstaken and should have been listed as Jurrassic formation rather than Triassic similar to some of petrohawk wells over by Timpson they called Jurrassic at similar depth. Would this make sense? Again I think this is a shale well
adubu, I question whether all of those formations are present in that particular area.
jffreel---If you can find any other data on this please forward or post, it's hard to believe that the bottom of CV sands to the Triassic is <2000' Have you found any other Eagle Mills wells? Found interesting reading about formation--it's a sand formation and in NorthEastern Texas-Ark at 12,000-18,000' Google
So could this deep sand formation be the basis for the persistent rumor all the knowledgeable people say can't be true?

It is located in Panola County about 5.2 miles NW of Joaquin.
iffree--thanks will watch it. Did you find any other information on the formation in OL Guy well of what layer formations and depth each between the lower Cotton Valley Taylor Sands and the Eagle Mills? Maybe Shale Geo will read this and comment. I think I post question to him.
No, but I haven't had a chance to look. Mom is in hospital so I've been occupied with that all week.
