It is very important for all mineral owners to know where their mineral ownership is
located and that this ownership has great value. In the old days, oil companies would
send a draft with a lease already filled out with the basic 1/8 royalty and maybe $25 per acre.
That has all changed now. People have "wised up"....now if we all know the facts and can
communicate with each other.....there is a good chance we can negotiate with these companies.
Now, I do not want to hear about how the big oil companies are doing us such a big favor
by leasing our minerals and spending all that money exploring for oil or gas. Obviously,
this is a fact....however, let us mention the billions in profit that these companies have
made. Another fact is "they" cannot explore and produce these minerals without us.
Mineral ownership is something we have acquired.....no one gave it to us....!!!!
I am excited about this new group and am anxious to share info with others. Let us
only receive what is fair and only what we are entitled to.
What do you think???????? Jim Burgess

When do we determine we have missed the boat?
