I was told by Petrohawk that Township 19 in Webster Parish was as far north of I-20 that was being leased. Has anyone leased in Township 19?

We are in township 20. My neighbor was made an offer last night. I don't have any details right now. If I found out more news I will post it.
Thanks Tim, you are the reason I read this blog. Good luck.
Any leasing in Sec 9, 10, and 15, T19, R8W?
I am in the middle of 19 and signed with Petrohawk a month ago. I was with 2 neighbors and we had a total of 124 acres.
Congratulations, Jim! Do you mind sharing what section and range y'all are in? If not, I understand. We are JUST outside the arc on Petrohawk's drilling map, S25 T19N, R10W. No contact so far, but neighbors signed with a middleman early on. We only have 56 acres.
we hired on own geophysicist last year to enhance some 2d seismic so we now know we are over the shale .
17n r10 s5,6 . petrohawk signed but they didn't pay the draft on time . now we are vacating the recorded lease . beusa talking about 6000/ ac
Jim, how are you going about vacating the lease?
they sent the check for the draft several days late according to the banker and two lawters that opened the letter we have everything documented to an from registered mail . the hawk would not talk to us about it . we have a contract lawyer working on it now . last week they sent us another check . we returned same . i think they are just holding on to the free option or they just screwed up . we signed a 2 yr deal with them because the geophysicist said they are good operators . in three weeks we will be able to move on . we will wait until they drill the test wells 2.5 mi e and 3 mi s .
hello i have property in sec 17-20-9, i think thats north of you, im about 4-5 miles north of caney lake, could you tell me where the test wells will be drilled and when, and where abouts are they in relation to where im at, i havnt been contacted by any oil co . thanks Crtbrll@aol.com
hi tatterscreek, my property is in 19 and im just lost and don't know which way to go right now. I don't have a clue who to talk to or what to say to them. Could you please give me a little advice or tell me what you've experienced so far.
Myself and 2 neighbors contacted Petrohawk directly. We had a total of about 123 acres. I don't know how much land you have, but they are not talking to the smaller land owners, yet. You can be somewhat proactive if you have enough property your offering, so it's best if you get together with some neighbors and contact them to see if it's in an area their interested in. They need to designate a 640 acre section before they can drill, but I believe they only need just over 50 percent leased in that section. The unleased property owners get no bonus and and don't get royalty payments until after the well is paid for. It's called forced pooling and it seems unfair but that's how it works.
