Petro Hawk - Wanting to change a clause in your lease

A rep. from Petro Hawk is in the Doyline area wanting to change a clause in the leases that were signed this summer. They are wanting the clause to read that they can drill to 100 ft below the stratigraphic formation of the Haynesville shale. He told a neighbor that they will offer up to $3500.00 an acre for the Doyline area at this time. Also heard that Petro Hawk was going to bring in 150 rigs after the first of the year. Mostly for Red River and Bienville Parishes.
Samson is drilling a well on Potter Rd. Sampson completed the vertical well on Al Sirus's property Alford road and Hwy 157. Looks like they are fracing that well now. Will come back after the first of the year to go Horiz. Do not reply to any of this I do not go on line every often. I hate dialup.

Wonder if they are also willing to change the amounts paid to my friends and neighbors in these same leases that were signed early on ?
I hope everyone already under lease has learned enough to know that they need to consult an attorney before dealing with these folks ever again.

They dropped a tool in the Cyrus well and were supposed to start fishing for it this past Monday, will probably talk to Al tonight at the game will have more information afterwards.

The well off of Potter Road is the Deltic Timber #8, I believe, being drilled by Scan Eagle.Serial #'ed 239201. As far as I can tell it isnt permitted for horizontal but close relatives were assured that it would be. Wonder how that verbage change in the leases is going ?
