As we read through the TMS operators' presentations and Q&A sessions there are numerous statements about how challenging the shale is on a number of levels.  There continue to be some drilling problems although the larger problems appear to be solved.  And completion issues still crop up regularly but seem to be not as severe as earlier problems.  Although these are "production" wells they could still be classified as tests.  The operators will learn more and adjust drilling and completion designs accordingly as development continues.

frank, Sanchez reported the well in a corporate presentation - 712 BOE/D, 89% Oil.

The MS O&G Board completion report (Form 3) shows 567 BO/D and 388 MCF/D on a 18/64" choke. 

The operators always convert the oil and gas to Barrels Of Oil Equivalent because the number is bigger.  Thus 567 barrels of oil and 388 mcf of gas equal a BOE of 712.

The State numbers are usually not taken on the peak production day and weren't in this case.

The peak o production would have been about 633 barrels.

Through November this well has made 21,740 barrels of oil per the MS O&G website. Also, November production was reported as an average of 204 barrels per day.

Welcome back, Bernell.  The operators don't give much mention to the wells that do not fit the type curve.
