First Comes the Lease, then comes the pipelines. If you are the landowner, then this might be what you may see in your neck of the woods. The wording on this stake, means Proposed Enbridge Pipeline 16 inches. When they stake your property, they mean to put a pipeline there ASAP.
Don't sign the first agreement they bring to your table. It will be short and sweet, with the amount of the check they temp you with. Like a real nice used car salesman, all smiles, just sign on this line, and you'll be in this new ride by the end of the week. But, that's a ride, that will last longer than a lifetime.
