AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. I would first like to thank you for your reply and the valuable information. I apologize for taking so long to repsond, but I just returned from a wedding in Birmingham. I to agree that this is not the ideal time. I actually have a friend that lives in Shreveport and it was through him that I learned about the Haynesville and its impact on the area. We both have developing and constructioin backgrounds and through some contacts of his were gonig to open up a site development company building drilling pads and doing pipeline work, but as you well know the timing was just not right. That being said, it certainly peaked my interest in the oil and gas business and like everything else particularity real estate, it will come back and I would like to be positioned to capitalize on it. In all honesty Charles I am about done with the building/development game and would like to focus on the oil and gas business. I will take your advice to task and begin absorbing as much information as I can. I would be interested in anything that you may feel be of value, be it a job related, contacts, information, leases, anything pertaining to the industry. If you don't mind me asking, I am curious as to what you do and your current involvement in the business. Do you live in Shreveport? You seem to have an interesting background in the business and it always fascinates me hearing peoples stories. Thank you again for your reply and the information, I was pleasantly suprised:) I wish you continued success and look forward to hearing from you again.
Regards,
Chris Batchelor
