CL. You should have a copy of a deed where the property was purchased/sold or a succession/Judgement of Possession by which you inherited them. In those conveyance documents there should be specific language relating to a "reservation of minerals". If that language is not included, the minerals were sold with the land. If you have succession/judgement of possession document, it may very well make reference to an earlier document regarding the ownership of the surface and minerals. If you do not have any of those documents you might check with Jffree1 for some help. Good Luck.
