When everyone supports the national fuel comversion to Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), stand back and watch the O&Gs up the ante on mineral leases.

The conversion to CNG is the best thing to come this country's way in years, economically.

When people recognize the simple fact that CNG is the best, cleanest and most abundant and least expensive fuel source for our transportation systems (auto, bus and truck) that conversion process will --or should --come quickly.

We need a strong nationally based effort to accomplish this. Instead of supporting middle eastern terrorism by continuing to buy their crude oil, we need to develop our on fuel source right here in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New york and elsewhere, so long as it is 100 percent American. It can be financed by shot circuiting the 700 BILLION dollars flowing out of this nation annually. The crude oil producers led by OPEC are strangling our economy and we Americans are paying them for doing so. Write your legislators--state and federal and demand that they initiate and PASS legislation supporting a national conversion to CNG, we need everyone of us involved to get this done. I am a liberal Democrat, but this is not a Democrat, a Republican or an Independent issue. It is an American red, white and blue issue.
