Thanks for the update. Keep me posted. I also see where Calston's partner, Pegasi Energy, just announced a successful drill of their horizontal (Morse #1). Should be some production information upcoming on this one too. I still have not signed a lease, wanted to see how these two produce first.
I was told also that they were looking at the Cotton Valley. I am considering signing the lease as well, just seeing if they would raise the bonus amount. Calston Exploration is drilling the 1 11-J Mimi well about 3 miles west of Atlanta in the William Donaho survey and their partner, Pegasi Energy, is drilling their first horizontal in the Ebeneezer Frazier Survey (Morse unit #1). I live in Bossier City but visit my uncles there occasionally. Are you aware of how many of your neighbors have signed leases for the $200 amount? My uncle, Kenneth Glass, said he was aware of the increased leasing activity in that area.
Hello, I have the same offer on 20 acres in the James Taylor Survey. I countered their offer and asked for $300 per acre with a cost free royalty clause. They did agree to the cost free royalty clause but did not raise the leasing bonus amount. My acreage was inherited from my grandfather, H.L. Glass in a land deal with Chester Glass in the 1920's. My land is located adjacent to the V.E. Glass well drilled in the 1980's.
