I wanted to let you know about a website I will be launching within the next two weeks. As you may know, I publish both GoHaynesvilleShale.com and GoMarcellusShale.com. These sites help network and educate those involved in these shale plays. This new site will tie those, and every other shale play, together.

For some time I have been working on the concept of a marketplace site of sorts for the shale industry. I tried a couple different things, but none of it seemed to work. So, I hired a firm to put it together and we are now nearing our launch date. I wanted to give a select number of people an initial chance to get their listing up and you are one of those people. Initially, I want to give 100 complimentary listings.

The site is www.ShaleBiz.com. The site has a few tools. A business listing, resume listing, job listings, a royalty calculator and a lease offer database are among the tools the site offers. The site will be heavily promoted on GHS and GMS among other places.

My goal is to provide a platform to initiate business and networking among shale stakeholders. I look forward to hearing any feedback you might have, currently the site is in the beta phase. We have a bit of polishing left to do, but it's been burning a hole in my virtual pocket and I want to get some feedback.

2. Sign up for an account
3. Confirm your account (you will get a confirmation in your inbox(bulk mail perhaps))
4. Return to ShaleBiz.com
5. Click on "+ Add a Listing"
6. Follow the prompts
7. When you get to the "Discount" prompt, enter "GHSFriends"
