In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

Ron if I were you I would stay in a holding mode on both tracts for the time being. The Forest Hill tract will be in the Austin Chalk area and I look for that area to kick off in the near future. Make sure that you don't lease to a speculator let me know of any offers you may get and I will be glad to walk you through the process of getting a decent lease. The same thing will apply to Libuse but that will fall into TMS territory.
