Does Anyone Have Haynesville Minerals in East Texas Too?

Has anyone seen the Texas Supreme Court's Decision on Brown/Wagner vs. Sheppherd? If so, do you have a legal opinion on how this will affect mineral and landowner with minerals when leasing?

Here is a link to the PDF containing the decision on the state's website:

Betty, Let me say up front that IANAL (I am not a lawyer). I am a mineral owner in East Texas and I have read this decision twice now. And I am not sure what you seem to find disturbing about it. Could you share some of your thoughts so that we can get a sense of what your questions are? I don't think (I could be wrong) you are going to get anyone to give you a "Legal Opinion" on a public forum. They may tell you what the law says in regards to pooling, unleased mineral interests in a unit (Texas treats these differently than Louisiana does), terminated leases, etc... but you probably need to ask specific questions. Just trying to help.
