Haynesville Movie at Robinson Film Center This Week, Coming to Mansfield Soon

Hi everyone, I'm one of the producers of the film Haynesville, and I wanted to let all shalers know we will be playing this Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30 and 7:30 at the Robinson. Seeing the film on the big screen is definitely the way it was meant to be experienced, and you will have a chance to meet either Gregory Kallenberg, the director, or myself at each screening. Tickets are $8.50, and DVD's and signed posters will be available for purchase. It's a slice of history of this area that is unique and will be remembered as a game-changer for the nation for years to come, so come on out and support our efforts and the arts in Shreveport!

Also, we are gearing up for a Mansfield screening in May. Details have not been determined yet, but if you would like to help us in terms of getting the word out and with organizing event details, please message me here or email me at mark@haynesvillemovie.com, and we can discuss ways to bring it to Mansfield.

Thanks, and happy shaling,

Mark

It was scary, very scary. I would leave a house like that the first time anything out of the ordinary happened.

... Oh, wait ... that was "Amityville." Sorry. 80)

Just wanted to say "thanks" to those who came to see the film at the Robinson. It's been really cool to get a chance to show it to the hometown crowd, and it was very well received throughout the week. As Skip pointed out, the DVD's can be bought through GoHaynesville (banner can be found on homepage), and doing so is also a great way to support the valuable resource that I know this forum has been for many in the area.

We are still making plans for the Mansfield screening, and if you have an organization or company that would like to host a screening of the film, not just in Mansfield, but also Shreveport or surrounding areas, feel free to email me at mark@haynesvillemovie.com. We can accommodate groups of varying sizes.

Thanks, Mark

My Dad had the chance to see the movie in Shreveport...he thought it was awesome. I live in Houston...I have newly leased land in Union Parish. I would love to see the movie. How much are you DVD's? I would love to have one.

Thank you,

If it is showing on a weekend the first part of May I would like to come. I cannot come in the last part of May, but anytime after June 5th or so and I'll bring a couple of friends. During the week would be good as well as I would like to do some genealogy reseach at the same time in June.
