A crew has been conducting Seismic testing on our family land north of Spring Ridge as well as on neighbor's land. Does this mean that they are close to putting a well in? if so, does anyone know how long it takes from the seismic testing phase to well drilling?

What happens next depends on the information collected during the seismic testing. They use the information to determine where and if they want to drill. Some mineral owners have been successful at obtaining a copy of the seismic information but it's highly technical and takes someone trained in reading the data to interpret it.
