I don't feel this person will apologize either, without some pressure from the front office. An apology may not be enough to expunge what this person has attempted to do.It isn't right and something needs to be done .I believe Haynesville will handle this in an appropriate manner. If you are big enough to let this by , then by golly let it pass. This would certainly show you are a far bigger person then myself.Have a good evening.

I didn't say let it go. I just said to relax a little. As one that overheats quite regularly , I felt you my have been on the verge, thats all.Do not get rid of text.Copy just in case if that is possible.Haynesville needs to look at this as this is his sight.Action needs to be taken and I feel he will do what is right . He has gone through a tremendous amount of effort to create and maintain this site. The most visited pure shale site there is.

Okay, I just did not appreciate what transpired. I will let it go but it was not right. I have permission to disseminate this information. We all should be looking out for one another sharing information not this.

Are you going to discuss this matter? I am waiting on a response.

Under the law of libel if you contacted me personally and defame me only to me you have the benefit of a "qualified privilege". However, if you publish on this website stating that this photo was stolen I consider that defamation. This photo was not stolen full credit was given to the creator and a link was made to the site, because, I wanted everyone to read that site. I notice you have also made links to that site. I am really concerned about this matter. I will have an attorney research this matter and determine whether or not my actions are in violation of any laws. I caution you not to defame me. In the meantime I will remove this photo until my legal position can be determined for it is not my intention to violate any laws.

The whole point of this site is to spread the news. I would think that oilshalegas.com would appreciate the link to its page. If you are connected with oilshalegas.com let me know because you would be perfectly within your right to ask that this photo not be used. If you are not connected then you need to be more diplomatic with your wording.

Sounds like I touched a nerve, but, don't take it personal. Glad to see you are passionate about your position. You may be right only time will tell. I will continue to do my research. Sounds like you have gained a lot of experience as a o/g man to me or a geologist. But you have to understand I do not know who you are or your credentials, you might be an expert or a blow hard. Besides a little friendly debate never hurts. Debate is one of the best ways I know to learn both sides of the story.

My holdings are small but adjoining a piece of property with just about 600 acres in it, (not leased) with producing wells all around it. Whether the gas is being obtained from CV or Gray Sands, it seems this property should be of interest. The adjacent well is producing over 3000 mcfgd. What is your impression of this situation.

Just thought I would add some additional info on natural gas prices. Most natural gas is priced on a monthly basis rather than daily spot. In 2008 Henry Hub has averaged $9.49 per million Btu (about the same as $ per thousand cubic feet). Two pricing points closer to North Louisiana are TETCO East Texas ($9.00 average) and Centerpoint ($8.23 average). As a reference Henry Hub averaged $6.86 in 2007 but most believe future prices will be closer to the 2008 average or higher.

Do you know how much it costs to drill a vertical well?

Do you know how much it costs to drill a horizontal well?

Are royalties being paid based on the price paid at the well head?

What is the going price paid for natural gas? (which is Y).

3000 mcfd x Y = price paid for natural gas.

How much mcfd is good for a vertical well?

Is 3000 mcfd, good, bad, great?

How do you conclude from the reports that the wells are not taping the Haynesville?

If you don't mind my asking,I would love for you to share with me your approach to finding out the info you posted. That kind of info could totally change the direction of talks if when they are trying to lowball

Average ole Joe wouldn't have been able to gather this kind of info so quickly! Are you holding out on us!Can you tell if the production numbers fall in line with other Shale Monster numbers? Just knowing they are producing and still fileing for permits is outstanding news.I certainly hope you feel better about the expanding areas north of I-20,because I sure do! Great work!I believe you just increased your chance at making some big bucks upfront by 5 fold, minimum!!!!!

Have heard of some earlier offers south of Sarepta but I don't know any specs on talks.North of I-20 has slowed to a crawl but I feel certain that once new well numbers come out and interest picks up again this will change. We don't know the outer limits as yet.Big O & G may but they certainly aren't giveing that intel out.If you ever feel like joining our effort we would certainly like to try to help.If you don't fall on the Shale we can't do much but by getting together as a large group we may be able to force their hand.As of right now they say it isn't in their plans to lease north of I-20.I think they are bluffing. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You are outside of their lines.Until the border is found we won't know for sure .But I would rather find out before I leased way low "because my land was outside of good zone"then to find out that you are on the Shale and settled to soon.
