RR, thank you for your comment. I have a degree in Chemical Engineering plus about 34 years of energy industry experience. Currently I am not directly involved with natural gas prduction but have personal and business reasons for keeping track of the Haynesville Shale.
Things seem to be heating up in South Sabine. Rumors of lots of landmen in the courthouse last week. They are getting closer to me. How about Converse? Any new wells being drilled?
I actually found out about this site on Tigerdroppings. I haven't been on there in a while though. I have been following this Haynesville deal for a while now. I actually had a vendor of mine that sells pump panels for wells tell me about 3 or 4 years ago that this was going to happen. I told him that he was crazy and that I had sold in this market since 1992 and there wasn't any boom in gas wells. I guess he knew what he was talking about. He also told me that it went from Bossier City to Leesville. I hope he was right.
You won't even remember your lease bonus if they drill a well in your section, which I am sure they will eventually. I know you don't have a clue who I am. You were nice enough to let my family live on the Rocking R back in the late 80's. I graduated in 1988 and was a proud member of the Converse P-law team. I own a 100 acres in Peason now so I am watching all of this just like the rest of us. I hope we all get a well on our places. I am buying myself a JR Ewing hat and a barge and white perch fishing everyday from here on out. Tell Mrs Rich I said hello.
Hey Brad. I talked to a drilling superintendent with Trinidad the other day. He stated they will have rigs moving into the area by the first of August. Oil companies are wanting everything they have and begging them to build more. Too early for news on the Murray well, they're still drilling. Petrohawk just had surveyors up here near me at the Sabine/Desoto line. Three new locations coming.
helo ronny whats going on in converse any rigs moving in? i hear the murray well in p.hill is a good well but some problems with the one in the big woods. the well at allen is still being drilled have to wait and see. if these wells are all good things should move south.
