Hey Natch. I think the siesmic work will generate a huge amount of interest in Natchitoches Parish. It just may take a while for the economy to pick back up and free up some money for the O & G companies. I wouldn't be surprised if you don't see some of the majors show up in the area in the future.
Things seems to have gotten quite in our area with landmen. Have you heard any thing? Any thing going on in the Goldonna-Black Lake area? Seems like everyone is waiting on the Messenger well update.
Yea , how about you and yours ? I am having to nip some webster stuff in the bud. These guy's are supposed to be my friends/ex-classmates and I have no idea who they are. Hey Natch, I saw some seimo's in downtown Saline Tuesday, when I went to my place down in Dodson. Mudbuggies sittin'down from the Quik Stop. I been buildin' a new deck out back o' the house an' missin' out on the GHS info. Later , Woody
In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of) nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
