Hey, truly impressive. Can't wait to see the Nic Cage version.

Gregory, I commend you for your finished product. It's the best that I have seen. However there are a couple of inaccuracies that I think could and should be remedied prior to wider release . If you would like to hear the specifics on my concerns, please let me know. Good Luck. Skip

GregoryK,
I sent you a friend request. I hope you will accept it. I'd like to send you a personal take on your movie, via a longer email. Thanks. The movie was great.

Congrats!

Thanks I'll do that.

I think you need to have a GHS only screening. It would be fun to put faces to some of the folk I haven't met.

I hope the film is a great success.

Hi GregoryK,

When is the movie going to be screened in Shreveport. I'd love to see it, but don't see myself going to New Orleans to see it.

The following was their plug for your movie:

"Haynesville..the movie – Can’t get enough Haynesville while trading stocks during market hours? Take family to docudrama Haynesville. Watch trailer here. http://www.haynesvillemovie.com/."

Greg,
Your apology is much appreciated and certainly accepted. I got much more than one timid boy's share of that back then. One of my favorite quotes is, "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good." You helped me realize the meaning of that early on and helped make me the self-reliant person I am today. So, thanks. No hard feelings. Good luck on your film.

Hi Greg. I saw your post and wanted to congratulate you on your efforts. How is your sister? Long time since I have seen either of you. I have been enjoying keeping up with all the hoopla about this. I have10 acres off Southern Loop and signed long before the huge bonuses, unfortunately! I also did not know enough to have the protective clauses in my contract back then, either, so I am pretty much at the mercy of the company I leased to and have to hope they drill and produce. Let us know when you complete your film...would love to see it! Good luck.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
