Have not heard of any lease activity in this area. Ours is up in 2010 as well. We also have property that is not under lease just across the creek in Winn Parish near Clouds Crossing. There is no activity in this area either as of yet.
I am in the Chestnut area and our Chesapeake lease is up December 2009. I have not been contacted by anyone as of yet. Who do you have your lease with at this time? Did anyone ever find out any info on the sesmic work done last year?
we have our lease with chesapeake also. we have not heard anything about the seismic either. good luck with your lease next month. let me know if you get released. thanks
Jimmy, Lee and/or N2,

Does your lease include an extension of primary term provision? If so, what are the terms ($ and additional years)?
it was just for 3 years at 150 dollars an acre.
I had a three year lease at $200.00 per acre with no extentions. It will be interesting if Encanna gets in the hunt for leases in our area. I understand they are drilling closer and closer to the parish line although I think it is south of us. Time will tell all!
