Naming of Gas Well

If a well is named so that there is no unit name preceding the owners name does that necessarily mean that well is not included in a unit? (e.g. smith 24-17-15 H as opposed to HA RA SRUA Smith 24-17-15 H) (This is a hypothetical example only)

correct.

However, there may be a unit pending, or the operator has not filed the amended name change with OOC yet.
