Ledlights, it is not unusual for sandstone wells to test at such rates.

By the way, a recent well in Southeast Asia tested at a rate of 700+ MMcfd.

Les, my understanding from the Encana slide was that there was 30 days of production from each of the wells that averaged over 40 MMcfd. Is there an upper limit to what a gas well can currently actually be produced at? Or do they just upsize everything to handle the extra available volume. (Obviously there has to be available pipeline capacity to handle the output ). (If I had an interest in a 700+ MMcfd well, I'm not sure how much I would sweat about the bonus offered - LOL.) Any idea what the projected decline curve for one of those wells is?

Ledlights, EnCana had 6 Deep Bossier wells that averaged > 40 MMcfd for three months.

Normally an operator will install production equipment sized to handle the rate at which a well can be efficiently produced without damaging the formation.

I do not recall EnCana showing a type curve for one of those high rate Deep Bossier wells so not sure about the decline rates.

Just took a look at the Encana presentation posted earlier by Ledlights and it shows that there were 15 wells there in that John Amoruso/Bossier field in Robertson County that averaged over 40+ MMcfd for that 3 month gross/avg period.

Pretty impressive.

Even more impressive, I just looked up the to date production reported to TRRC for that field and the results are pretty interesting.

Encana lists their Laxson 2 at the head of the class for that field.

They reported the intial 90 day avg at over 62 mmfcd for that well and the to date production reported for that Laxon 2 well is over 26 BCF for the 26 month period that it has been online.

1 BCF production averager per MONTH.

Needless to say, it doesn't look like the mineral owners in that unit had any worries to concerned about during the recent/current economic downturn.....

And quite a few more wells reported with production totals between 5 - 10 BCF overall all.

Has there been any report as to when the Roadrunner well will be up and running?
What about the Lumberjack Well? Falcon Well? Has anyone heard anything about these wells?
Where and when are these wells supposed to be drilled? Does anyone know whose property these wells are supposed to be drilled on?

Drilling is complete and frac trailers are being brought in now.

Have you heard anymore about the roadrunner well? We haven't seen any completion data on it.

I haven't seen an IP yet but there was production posted for March: 94607 mcf

Do you know anything about the "Falcon" well? Nothing coming up on permits for that well name.
