I do not know if this true, but I have heard that the A.T. Martinez well permit (Shuteye Rd in Many, LA) was pulled due to objections from Wal-Mart - and there will be a hearing - if this is true what are other situations that could stop a well from being drilled?

Shaleeee, I am not sure but you may be referring to the attached unit application (Sec 20-T7N-R11W) made by Petrohawk that was originally on the January 5th hearing schedule. A later notation said the application had been withdrawn but did not provide an explanation. AT Martinez appears to be a land owner in the section so there may have also been a well application in Section 20 that was withdrawn. Well applications are not posted until approved.
