Ellora says they entered into 2 Joint Ventures to hold acreage and accelerate drilling in their 3rd qtr 2009 in the Haynesville (EOG's 1st well EOG - ELLINGTON-ELLORA - Well # 1H)--release 2-19-2010 at link above. Clearly one was ~5000 acres with EOG..who was the 2nd JV with?
I think there was a second with EOG for 1900 acres.
went and reread release--both JV's Ellora with EOG--Texas 1900 acres and Lousiana ~5000 acres with Ellora-Ellington #1H the texas well drilled..anyone know anything about the EOG well drilled on Ellora's Louisiana acres? (also spud in third qtr 2009)

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
