Jag has been doing some drilling along stateline lately on Ark side. Looks like this must be Haynesville Sand well, based on permitted depth.
The old Arkana field yard has been seeing a little activity since late last year. I passed it last Wednesday and there was new pipe in the racks. Good to see.
If I'm not mistaken I saw a posting by you some time ago dealing with Southern Star Energy and the Sentell Field. If I am correct, I would appreciate hearing from you as to whether you own an interest in the field, what you know about the wells claimed by SS to have found the Haynesville, etc. Neilson Jacobs
Yes, I have previously posted comments on Southern Star and their JV partners in the Sentell Field. As HA related development has moved south, I don't do much research covering north Caddo/Bossier of late. I do not own an interest in the field. Member Aubrey C. Sanders is a geologist and WI in the SS/Sentell prospect. He has made positive comments in the past regarding core samples in the field. The only specific that I have seen posted in SS news releases and reports was to the effect that the HS under the Sentell Field was 300' thick. IMO, it is likely the same 300' drilled in the Blanchard area with less than economic results.
