Again, from one of my reliable sources:  The Shale is over 200 ft thick on the county line between Nac & San Augustine.  Very high pressure reported.

This would help justify the claim of the mega well out west of town....

what area of the line? it goes from Martinsville to Broaddus. Are you talking primary around Chireno North where all the EOG wells are located (Hill, Gammage,Pop-Pop, and 5 Hassels)? Or up North from Chireno closer to Martinsville area where some of Common Resources Red-River wells and some of COG and XTO wells are located just across river into San Augustine County. Is this mostly bossier rather than haynesville shale?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
