I want to know if any one know any thing about Columbia Patroleum llc.? How longhave they been in business and have any body sign with them? Thanks

Looks like they have a 1,000 acres and will be drill 15 locations with Cheasapeake. Look at their map of the HS

I check the maps .Do you all know any one that have lease with them in the haynesville/bossier shale play, If so what was their offer,and was it in the Shreveport/Bossier area.

They can change their map that is for sure. Better go north quite a bit more!!

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
