I heard this from two diffferent sources. I believe it to be West of the airport, maybe Cabot's Jacquelyn Bright Unit or Winston or King Units, or maybe Common Resources Burrow's Unit. It's supposed to be bigger than the Kardell well. Anybody else hear anything?
Vicky G. Sublett. What is "wrrrong"? That Devons interest is in the E. region of the county, or the FACT that the Sublett well is 3.5 mls. EAST (not west) of San Augustine?
Enlighten us, please...
I saw somewhere that Burrows was producing 21mm/day. Don't know how long it's been on. I drove out there Thursday as I have an unleased interest in the unit. It's got a Common Resources sign and a Southwest Energy sign. Gate was shut, but it looks BRAND new. I wasn't even sure it was tied in to a pipeline yet, but I did see that production figure on Friday (can't remember where)
I assume you were asking GHart (me) that question. They've been trying to lease my acreage since last summer. We never could agree on terms. When I went to San Aug last week I called. They did tell me they had a producing well, of which a small portion of my acreage was in the unit; not the drill site, but near the edge of the unit. So, we struck a deal, and I signed a lease. I thought for a nanosecond about letting the well payout and collecting 100% royalty instead of 25%. But they could pencil whip me for years, and I would have to pay my proportionate share of operating costs; not a position I want to be in. They took the risk, it's a nice well, so far, so now I'm a leased member of the unit.
