Don't sign their lease! Hire an O&G lawyer to draw up a lease. The money is on the back end, not the bonus.

I CAN'T SIGN WHAT THEY WON'T GIVE ME. SO FAR, NO LEASE FORTHCOMING .

thank you for the real advice. I am willing to accept the offer I was given but I must be out of the 330 range, since I haven't heard back from the company. Just the same, good luck to whomever gets a lease it couldn't happen to a greater group of people. TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE DON'T SELL ALL YOUR GRANDPARENTS OR PARENTS LAND BECAUSE THEY AREN'T MAKING ANY MORE LAND. REAL ADVICE!!!!!!

JUSTREE, you are so right!!! If at all possible, never sell family land and if you have to, reserve the minerals! I hope you get a good lease offer soon.
