What companies leasing in Shelby county have offices in Center?  Does anyone have any contact information on any of the companies leasing on the east side of the county?

it is 100.0 acres total, split among relatives. mine and my brother's is about 13 acres. so mine is 6.5 acres, $13,000.
That Ellington Ellora well did have a decent IP at a bit over 7 mmcfd and has been producing strongly.

EOG is actually the operator as they are in a joint venture with Ellora on that land and they are the ones who oversaw the deeper horizontal completion of this well.
Where are you located in Shelby County?
the land is in Shelbyville!
Just curious but we got an offer of $150 an acre for leasing acreage in Jesse Sullins survey. What does anyone think of that?
What area of the County is that, LJW?
just outside of Tenaha to the NW
You should be in a much better position to assess things after the results of the Lane #2 (recently drilled in Sullins) are announced. Also, Devon just did some leasing about 2 miles south of Timpson.
I know nothing about the survey, location, or anything else; however, I do not think that is near enough. I wondered if you were joking.
Not joking at all. Thanks to all for answering and advice.
Have you been leasing your land? I have some and it was leased and now I am finding out that the co will
no re-lease it. Not sure of what is going on since the "hype" is there. Is that just oil company talk or should
we get in on the monies?
Our property (56 acres) is in the J.B. Tutt survey (A-725) SE of Timpson on CR 1645.

Alan C. Prigge & Assoc. (representing Devon Energy production Company, L.P.) have been calling/offering since last September. Initial offer was 1k per acre, went to 1.25k per acre in March, and are now offering 3 year, 1.5K per acre and 22.5%----with this latest offer, they are expressing the need to "get it done as soon as possible".

I think the bonus offer is reasonable (any thoughts/input?), but this "need for speed" has risen a red flag for me. I have the lease agreement being perused/emended by a competent oil/gas lawyer.
