Yep, the T J Sistrunk Well.
Any updated word on drilling on sec.18,twn 09n, rge 11w? As of 04/08/10, drilling at 13385 is the latest info I have.
They have been flaring off the annie burkett well near Bozeman Bottom for the last few days now. One heck of a flame tonight! Why do they flare off the wells? I have two drilled and they didn't flare either of them off. If I were mineral owner I would be getting a little upset.
USUALLY THE FLARE IS BURNING ANY POISON GAS , OIL , AIR POLLUTANTS THAT COME OUT OF THE WELL DURING A FLOW TEST THAT IS BEING RECORDED ON CHARTS ! --- THE TEST GENERALLY RAN FOR 8 HRS OR LESS IN OLD DAYS -- BUT SEEMS HAYNESVILLE WELLS TEST UP TO WEEK OR MORE !! THEY ADJUST THE AMOUNT OF GAS COMING FROM WELL TO SEE HOW MANY MILLION CUBIC FT CAN BE ACHIEVED - AND IF PRESSURE CHANGES OCCUR -- THE FLOW CHARTS PROVE THE AMOUNT OF GAS AVAILABLE FOR SALE AND THE PRESSURE ( WHICH IS IMPORTANT ) THIS INFORMATION DETERMINES HOW SOON A PIPELINE COMPANY IS WILLING TO INVEST IN BUILDING A PIPELINE TO MARKET THE GAS !!!
THIS FLOW TEST AND BURNING OFF POLLUTANTS IS ONLY WAY TO PROVE WHAT AMOUNT OF GAS IS AVAILABLE !!! THUS ATTRACTING INVESTMENT REVENUE , AND SALES CONTRACTS --
PO, most Haynesville Shale wells are not flared during flow testing as the operator waits until the pipeline connection has been made before completing and flow testing the well. Official well potential tests are 24 hours.

By the way there is no poison gas, oil or air pollutants associated with Haynesville Shale production.
I was told by a relative about 2 months ago that a well was going to go up in one of my sections. This one is in Sec. 12, T9N, R12W. This is around the area of Free Road and Progress Church Road. I received a phone call yesterday from someone at Audobon Oil, who we leased with, concerning verification of title names. He did confirm that he was calling because the well was about to be spudded. He said probably this weekend. Does anyone know the name of this well? The last I checked Sonris, I did not see it. Thanks
Hi Donna,

Check out well no. 241213, JUR RA SUO; COOK TAYLOR LAND 12.

SWEPI permitted it on 20 APR 2010.

Grasshopper.
I am about to check it out now. I know you are right as my uncle mentioned it was on the Cooks land. Thanks so much Grasshopper.
Interested to know the status on that well also Donna, we are part of the COOK TAYLOR Land, this should be one of 4 wells SWEPI on 2 and Encanca on 2, interested to know of anything close and the current outcomes. THANKS.
Buckshot, EnCana tested the following well in the Mid-Bossier Shale at 20 MMcfd.

EnCana, Jimmy Ray Brown 9 #H1 Well, Serial #240294, S9-T9N-R12W
Woohoo!!! That one is in my other section. Okay, Les B, now that I have whooped it up, is this good numbers? I think that is more than the T J SISTRUNK well, right? Thanks.
