All of yall need to read and think about what you are reading. These folks are out to screw you with words. Many or might I say most don't understand words that are completely over their head in meaning. You can look it up in a Webster Dictionary and then look it up in a Blacks Law Dictionary and find a different meaning. Tread lightly with these people and if I were you I would throw the crap into the trash without giving it a second thought.

Gerry or Dixie...where was Merrit out of? Mine from Pinnacle was fixed up real nice with a draft...2500.00 p/a for half of Royalty for 10 years, if no action reverts back. I was not interested but wondered if others had received offers.

Merritt Oil has an address out of Brookhaven, MS. We only received a letter with an offer to purchase, no amount was mentioned. We are not interested.

I also received a letter 3 weeks ago from Merritt Oil on one of my 2 properties in Pleasant Hill, S12 T9N, R12W. Just like Dixie, no numbers mentioned, just a phone # to call. Did NOT pay it any mind, not interested. I agree....beware.
