Julia, what survey are you in and who is landman leasing for? I have minerals in Woods also near Tenaha that is currently unleased. Thanks.

The survay is the James Tippett off CR 429 aprox. 400 ac., sorry I left the paperwork at home today. This is an independent landman working with a Security Broker from Tyler. My father in law has made a few phone calls and we are still waiting to hear the local news on bonus and % royalties. Are you living in the area? and do you have an active well or drilling in the area? Have you had a lease in the past few years?

Ours is on CR 435 in Alanson Barr Survey not very far from you. We were contacted about 4 yrs ago and we declined offer. The property owner who owns surface and about 1/2 portion of mineral interest in our acreage signed 5yr deal with same company but I understand lease was recently bought by another company. All of these offers and deals were made long before the Haynesville/Bossier activity started. We are curious as to why someone has not contacted us to lease as well. Hopefully someone will soon. I will let you know if I hear of any offers in the area.
