I heard that the equipment that was set up Pine Orchard has been taken down and the well was capped? What does it mean when a well is capped? Does anyone have a clue about that

Capped means they sealed it off. They are not going to put it into production at this time. Maybe later when prices are higher? Maybe never at all.
Where is Pine Orchard?
It is off the Greenwood Springridge Road after you pass the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Who drilled the well? Sorry but I don't know where the location is by your directions. Could someone give me a Section, Township and range? If not what town is it close to? Thanks.
My understanding is that the reason the well has been capped, is because there is a group of people who will not allow chesapeake to put a pipeline in. They have hired an attorney and are demanding an "outrageous" amount of money to allow access for the pipeline. (as per a nearby neighbor).
Greenwood Springridge road run down the line between T16 R 16 Secs 14 and 13. Pine Orchard Rd itself lies SE of there in T 16 R 15 Sec 19. See attached pdf.

I learned today that Chesapeake will begin fracing the well in the next 2 weeks.
