Does anyone have any updates on Whitton or on the land surrounding it? Just curious as to how the gas lines are looking (size & direction) and if there are any new changes in the area surrounding Whitton? Thanks :-)

Bill R,

How long after you returned your Division Order did royalty payments start arriving?
check your lease wording-- generally 90-120 days (unless delayed due to title conflict opinion by attorney--which would delay division order issue) from when well flowed to pipeline to sales --then after that each check reflects sales from about 6-7 weeks prior i.e. end of May sales will be in July's check etc
Keep in mind that the first check will be the largest, as it will generally reflect the first 2-3 months of sales to pipeline and everything thereafter will be for 1 month period and (unless the well has been very tightly choked) you will also be hit by the steep decline curve on these shale wells.

That said, don't spend all of that first check with the assumption that all of the subsequent checks will be anywhere near that same $$$ figure...
Yep, that is exactly what happened on two of the well, big initial check, then about 30% of the initial amount from then on.
Right at the 100 day mark with Southwestern...
Did you get your division order for your interest in the Whitton? Still waiting for ours.
Nothing yet... and my Aunts are driving me crazy!!!
All three of them... my Moms sister and two Great Aunts call every night to see why they have not heard anything yet. I want to hear anything, just so they stop - LOL
