Congratulations! At least the ball is in your court! That is so much better than to be HBP with NO information from the o/g company. I hope your acreage brings great fortune and is well managed! It does bring some satisfaction when wells are drilled AND produced with some success. Devon seems to like the area!
Is there another source for Shelby County abstract maps? The TRRC site seems to be down.
TRRC GIS Map is working now, George.
Is there a way to find out when they start to drill?
CE, check Les B's "Texas Drilling Rigs"... he updates it on Friday afternoon.

Has anyone heard anything about this well? Baker Hughes shows a spud date of August 3. I have an interest very nearby which is also leased to Devon and am curious about this one.
Nothing and Devon is being VERY tight lipped in their communications back to us. I am keeping my ear to the ground in hopes of hearing something. Seems awfully quite out there right now...
I am hearing different reports RE: Devon's Bell Unit. Anyone local hear, see or know anything?
Just heard today that we have Division Orders coming from Devon for Whitton 1H, Bell and Don Wheeler GU's... haven't seen them yet, but they said they are in the mail.

Yep we heard same info too. Bell is in production but choked back (how much I don't know)... We shall see!

Did anyone else hear that they did the frac in two stages on the Bell the second occurring in the last 2-3 weeks?

I have family members out there. They drove by and saw the work a few weeks back and called me. Their Devon Rep. told them that they were doing a 2nd fracture but did not give any more information. When I talked to them I suggested they ask next time they see/talk with him ask about 2 stages vs. a 2nd fracture. The 1st rumor out there was the fracture was done in two stages... but then we heard there may be another line or area they fracked. I just don't know the validity in any of it other than what my relatives tell me they visually see for themselves. I know this is not much help. I am just waiting on the mail. I think that will be the best indicator at least until we talk directly with our Devon Rep.
