The Forestar Com #1H spudded on Friday, last, just south of Yellowpine. It isn't a Haynesville well but it is still good news for the county. Wish them good luck and a productive oil well. They already have a second well permitted and a third planned.

You are correct... 87. No, I haven't looked in awhile.
Update... I did look and there is pending production for May showing that it produced nothing... so it is probably shut in again.

Is there a Sabine Co. Map on here?

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
